Barack Obama Fights the Rumors

Barack Obama is now preparing for the biggest battle of his short political life yet. After what was a long and arduous primary season, the battle has only just begun. Obama now has to lick his wounds from the fierce battle with Hillary Clinton and move on to John McCain.

It's too early to tell who will win the next election, but the experts are already commenting and analyzing every situation and believe that it is Barack Obama who will triumph in November. They say that Obama has weathered every possible storm that could come his way and has emerged stronger than before. Another advantage that he has is that the Republicans, who have promised to keep this race clean, don't have much on Obama. His lack of experience is now a big advantage. An irony, considering how Barack Obama was initially criticized for not being in Washington long enough to know how things work there.

The Obama campaign has been proactive. They realize that the rumors that were spread about his being a Muslim who doesn't respect the flag or pledge of allegiance have hurt him badly. They have now started websites that tell the people the facts about Obama. The point of these websites is to dispel the rumors and to give you the facts on a number of issues ranging from Michelle Obama to Rev. Wright and from Barack Obama's Religion to Barack Obama's upbringing.

Ironically, these rumors were started by Democrats and in the long run, it may cost them a seat in the white house. However, the ultimate decision lies with the American people. They are the ones who decide the fate of Obama and McCain and should do so based on facts and figures rather than on rumors.
